For years, the guides to Paris, London, Milan, and New York included in Smythson’s Fashion Diary ($405; 866/769-8476; www.smythson.com) have made it the agenda. Now it’s even more covetable: the 2007 edition features covers by designers Zac Posen (pink calfskin with "corduroy" ribbing), Missoni (the squiggly knit seen here), Alexander McQueen (a feathery design on silk), and Giambattista Valli (a lingerie-ish layering of black lace on cream cotton). Buy one and never be late.
