If you thought the tourists who damaged an 18th-century statue while taking a selfie was bad, you're going to love (read: cringe and immediately hate) this. On Monday, three Korean men visiting the Expo 2015 crashed their drone into the Milan Cathedral, causing minor damage to the structure. Reportedly, the drone barely missed the Madonna statue topping the structure's main spire. The ironic twist is that the damage didn't occur until the tourists lost control of the craft while being approached about using the drone so closely to the building.
The tourists were taking in for questioning by the local authorities, but there's no word on whether or not they will be charged for the incident. Many cities have rules for drone use banning them from flying within 150 feet of monuments and other landmarks.
