shares a menu that involves the likes of lattes with My Little Pony foam art, a Milky Rainbow parfait, a chicken-and-carrot sandwich with “I Want a Pony” inscribed in the toast, and pancakes made with marshmallow, banana, and chocolate, and topped with rainbow ice cream and sprinkles.
People are already discovering the My Little Pony cafe on Instagram, where visitors are posting photos of the rainbow decals in the windows, ponies surrounding plates of food, posters on the walls declaring that “Friendship shines,” and selfies with giant stuffed ponies. The website notes that the shop is also selling branded goods like notebooks, postcards, T-shirts, tote bags, mini towels, and more.
As Eater notes, this is all pretty much business as usual in Tokyo, which has been home to a number of themed pop-up restaurants featuring beloved animated characters, including Hello Kitty and Super Mario Brothers. And now, bronies and other My Little Pony obsessives are finally having their day in the extremely rainbow-dappled sun.
