Sharm el Maya, or the Old Town, fronts the main harbor in Sharm el Sheikh.
This atmospheric old market area follows Sharm’s walled stretch of coastline with its lighthouse and glitzy resort hotels.
You’ll find plenty of cafes in Sharm’s Old Town, along with souvenir stalls, spices, fruit and produce markets to browse.
Sharm el Maya Bay joins with Na’ama Bay to form the resort of Sharm el Sheikh. The bay is around 6 kilometers (4 miles) west of Na’ama Bay.
