Around 50m west of the Roman Museum is the Punic Museum, which is only worth the effort if you have an expert's interest in the city's earliest history. Exhibits include underground ceramic objects and fragments from Mausoleum B (Mausoleum of Bes), representations of lions, male figures and the deity of the Egyptian god Bes in all his repugnant glory.
