The collection here contains South African manuscripts, first editions and works going back to 1797, with all the famous writers represented. The collection is in storage; phone ahead if there is something specific you would like to see. In February 2016 the museum should be moving to a custom-built building on the corner of Worcester & Jacques, where it will become a cultural centre with two theatres and exhibitions on South African literature.
