On the road to Modjadji, look out for signs to the 22m-high Sunland Baobab. It takes 40 tree-huggers with outstretched arms to encircle its 47m circumference and, according to carbon dating, it’s 6000 years old. The bar no longer occupies the two cavities inside the tree, which 60 drinkers have squeezed into, but you can still take a peek.
