Housed in the old governor’s residence (1777), the exhibits in this rambling museum trace Simon’s Town’s history. Included is a display on Just Nuisance, the Great Dane that was adopted as a navy mascot in WWII – whose grave, above town off Red Hill Rd, makes for a long, pleasant (but uphill) walk from the harbour, with good views.
