Franschhoek boasts many fine galleries, mostly along Huguenot St. At the Ceramics Gallery you can watch David Walters, one of South Africa’s most distinguished potters, at work in the beautifully restored home of Franschhoek’s first teacher. There are also exhibits of work by other artists.
