De Villiers Reservoir
One of a series of five reservoirs built on the top of Table Mountain towards the end of the 19th and the early 20th centuries. This one was completed in 1907.

Credo Mutwa Cultural Village
This series of clay sculptures and buildings is inspired by African folklore, and was created in 1974 by Credo Mutwa, a controversial artist and healer.

On King St, opposite Settlers Dr, is a wall with loopholes from the original fort, built as a refuge from Zulu attack and now part of the police station.

Prolific street artist Faith47 (www.faith47.com) created this eight-storey tall mother with a baby strapped to her back pointing up towards Lion’s Head.

Birds of Eden
This is one of the world’s largest free-flight aviaries with a 200-sq-m dome over the forest. A combo ticket with Monkeyland costs R280/140 per adult/child.

Details the history and art of the peoples of the Eastern Cape, including the Xhosa and 1820 Settlers, with some beautiful beadwork and embroidery on display.

Cape St Blaize Lighthouse
There are wonderful views from the lighthouse. Sadly, the St Blaize Cave, dating back to the Stone Age era, is rather neglected and frequented by vandals.

Within the Cape Point section of Table Mountain National Park, this sheltered bay offers sweeping views across False Bay and a sea pool for safe swimming.
