On Monday and Thursday, rue Taieb Mehiri, the road that leads directly back to town from the fort, is the place to find the Libyan market. Traders from Tunisia's neighbour to the south once set up shop here though these days it's T-shirts, jeans and other everyday Western goods. It's only open for two days of the week; ask at your accommodation for details.
