Crocodile Breeding Centre

Wangchulo Dzong
Haas Wangchulo Dzong is one of Bhutans newest, built in 1915 to replace a smaller structure. It is inside the Indian army compound (an impressive chorten marks the entrance) and so houses several army offices and a rations shop.

The Nazhoen Pelri Skills Training Centre has a program that trains girls in a one-year course to produce souvenir handicrafts. Products include hand-woven bags, embroidered purses, Bhutanese paper products, dolls and Christmas decorations. It’s a worthy cause and worth a stop.
