For aerial views of the World Expo grounds or for those seeking to measure the extent of Shànghǎi’s urban sprawl, climb up to a viewing platform at the apex of the city’s longest suspension bridge. The entrance is located at the end of Luban Rd (under the bridge). It’s one elevator ride and an additional 367 wind-blown steps to the top. From metro Luban St take bus 17 for one stop to get here. If you take a taxi, insist on the address; the bridge is 4km long and the driver will probably have no idea what you are looking for.
