Follow the signs around Peng Chau to see the ghostly remains of the island's past life as an industrial hub. Though it may seem hard to believe, this was once one of Hong Kong's major industrial centres, with a large match factory and a lime kiln. All that remains today is picturesque ruins. Don't miss the cool octagonal well just off the town square.
