Sitting quietly east of the Luís de Camões Garden is this beautiful colonial villa built in 1770. It was the headquarters of the British East India Company when it was based in Macau in the early 19th century. Today it's the headquarters of the Oriental Foundation, and includes a gallery, Museu do Oriente , that mounts interesting art exhibitions.
