Trainspotters and kids will adore this recently renovated museum, with its collection of steam locos and carriages spread across 11 acres. Among the venerable bogies are the former Viceregal Dining Car, the Maharaja of Mysore’s rolling saloon, and the Fairy Queen locomotive, dating from 1855. The indoor gallery displays Indian Railways memorabilia, including the skull of an elephant that charged the UP Mail in 1894. A toy train (adult/child ₹20/10) chuffs around the grounds.
