At the roadside where the Turtuk road crosses a major side river, Hunder's modest gompa isn't worth a special visit but the path that links it to the town centre passing a collection of stupas is the only easy way to get to the main road on foot without backtracking all the way to the army camp. So it's a handy place to jump on or off passing transport.
