At the west end of town is the moderately interesting Lahaul & Spiti Tribal Museum, with examples of a thod-pa (part of a skull formerly used by amchis or lamas to store healing or sacred liquids), old dance masks, traditional straw shoes, historical photos and prints, and contemporary photos of the local monasteries and landscapes.
