Madhav National Park is scattered with relics from the Scindias’ hunting days – a shooting box, hunting lodge and sailing club. The last tiger was shot many years ago, but the 355-sq-km park is still home to leopards, antelope, deer, wild boar, wild dogs and mugger crocodiles. A 20km circuit of the park takes about two hours.
