In the Umaid Gardens park, the Sardar Government Museum feels charmingly frozen somewhere in the 19th century. The ill-labelled exhibits in dusty cabinets include weapons and 6th- to 10th-century sculptures, as well as the obligatory moth-eaten stuffed animals.
There’s also a desultory zoo in the park.
