This flamboyand stone-and-wood gompa stands at the top end of a long flight of steps leading up from the end of the Main Bazaar. The festival ground here hosts the annual Pang Lhabsol festival, held each August in honour of Kanchendzonga. Chaam dances take place on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month.
