The promenades around Ranmal Lake make for a nice stroll when temperatures are moderate. Flamingoes and other birds can sometimes be spotted on the water. The diminutive mid-19th-century Lakhota Palace , a fort on an island in the lake, houses a small museum that was closed indefinitely at research time.
