Shirdi Sai Baba Temple
Located in the Mylapore neighborhood of Chennai, Shirdi Sai Baba Temple was constructed in 1952 to honor Shirdi Sai Baba, an Indian spiritual leader who taught on love, contentment, charity and inner peace without regard for caste or religion. Also known as the All India Sai Samaj, the temple was the first institution dedicated to Sai Baba of Shirdi and the oldest in the Chennai area.
The temple, set near the beach, welcomes visitors of all faiths. It’s at its most busy on Thursdays — a special day of worship for Sai Baba devotees — and Sundays, when Agni pooja is performed.
