In an attractive Gaudí-influenced building, this excellent museum exhibits the kimono art of Itchiku Kubota (1917–2003). A small number of lavishly dyed kimonos from his life's work of continuous landscapes are displayed at any one time, in a grand hall of cypress. You might see Mt Fuji in the wintertime or the cherry blossoms of spring spread across oversized kimonos. Take the bus to the Kubota Itchiku Bijyutsukan-mae stop.
