One of Nagoya's favourite attractions, this port-side aquarium boasts one of the largest outdoor tanks in the world, where resident dolphins frequently perform for crowds of up to 3000 spectators per show. The aquarium claims its own conservation efforts, though animal welfare groups believe it causes harm to dolphins to be kept in captivity.
