This public safety centre has a room that simulates a real earthquake. It's obviously intended for school children, but travellers are welcome here, too. You probably want to skip the whole two-hour safety course and just go for the shake down, which is no joke – on our last visit we experienced a reenactment of the 1923 Kantō quake that was thoroughly rattling.
