A couple of minutes' walk from the south side of JR Kushiro station, Washō Ichiba features every kind of seafood imaginable. It's as much a sightseeing spot as a place to eat. Try the local speciality known as Katte-don (勝手丼), where you buy a bowl of sushi rice then add your choice of delectable seafood options on top.
