Bring your binoculars to spot stork-billed kingfishers, baya weavers, otters and butterfly lizards at this wildlife spot 6km south of Batu Gajah. Despite excellent birdwatching credentials, the park is yet to receive major tourist attention (or investment). Lookout points are underloved and there’s no visitor or information centre. It is possible to visit independently by bike but we recommend using a guide with a 4WD in this overgrown and isolated spot; enquire at Gopeng hotels or try Ipoh-based Mr Raja .
