This 300-acre gaharu (agarwood) plantation is a mini–Cameron Highlands right near Gopeng. It's touristy, with guides extolling the healing powers of gaharu and its role in Middle Eastern and Chinese cultures, plus contrived attractions like 'Lovers' Tree'. But with viewing platforms that overlook the plantations and a cafe serving snacks like tea eggs, it's a pleasant break from sweating it out in Gopeng's jungle.
