This former Ford Motors assembly plant is most remembered as the place where the British surrendered Singapore to the Japanese on 15 February 1942. Through photographs, ration books, diaries, prisoner drawings and a large interactive map, the museum charts Singapore's three dark years of Japanese occupation during WWII. Bus 170 stops here, just after Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.
