The under-the-radar Tan Swie Hian Museum is dedicated to the work of prolific Singaporean artist Tan Swie Hian, whose works span vibrant paintings and contemporary sculpture, to Chinese calligraphy and poetry. Tan was also the first person to translate the works of Samuel Beckett and Marin Sorescu into Chinese.
