Located inside the Government House, this free museum showcases Mongolia's diplomatic relations stretching back to the time of the great khaans.
The highlight is the upstairs hall where visiting heads of state gather in front of the nine horsetail banners (the same ones on display in the stadium during Naadam). On the main level you can see seals used by Mongolian royalty and gifts given by foreign leaders to Mongolia's presidents.
The museum also has an interesting gift shop where you can buy government-sanctioned souvenirs, such as commemorative coins and Chinggis Khaan replica statues.
