The central focus of this cultural space is the collection of photos from the archives of the Das Shrestha family, selected to illustrate Kathmandu's dramatic urbanisation over the last 50 years. The attached gallery has exhibits of contemporary Nepali art, as well as occasional talks and film screenings.
After a visit here pause for an organic coffee or traditional-style soda in the ground floor Fig Cafe or check out the collection of top-end Nepali-made jewellery and fashion in the museum shop.
