This is where you can catch the inmate dance performances that became an internet sensation on YouTube several years back with a performance to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’. The performance was the brainchild of chief warden Byron Garcia, whose love of ‘80s pop inspired him to groove up the regular prison exercise drill. There are free performances on the last Saturday of each month at 3pm. Registration starts at noon. Limited spots are on a first-come, first-serve basis so show up early
The prison is about 4km north of the provincial capital compound. Take a taxi or a habal-habal (P150 round-trip including wait time) from the stop on the corner of N Escario St and Villaron Dr.
