Singapore Night Safari

The Singapore Zoo Night Safari, named the Singapore Tourism Awards' Best Leisure Attraction Experience, is a one-of-a-kind tour that takes visitors on an open tram through 86 acres (40 hectares) of jungle after dark, all while staying within the zoo.
While on the safari, travelers will pass a large reservoir and weave through habitats specially designed to replicate the Himalayan foothills, Southeast Asian rain forest and Indian subcontinent. Enhanced by the subtle glow of moonlight, the jungle comes to life with roaming animals as the tram moves along the trail, making its way through the seven environments.
Visitors then continue into the night on foot to explore trails, catch fishing cats fishing cats swat at their prey, lock eyes with a perched leopard or hop around the free-range wallaby area.

Practical Info

Combine a visit to both the zoo and the Night Safari to see the animals of the world in two different lights. Several buses run visitors to the zoo from points in central Singapore. By taxi, the trip takes around 30 minutes.
