Singapore XD Theatre

The Singapore XD Theatre, one of Singapore Flyer’s newest attractions, takes passengers on a multi-sensory journey through the canyons of the American Southwest, into outer space or through an arid ravine. The moving theater has 10 seats, each equipped with its own motion technology that can include up to 400 distinct movements per second, including left to right, up and down, front to back, twisting and pitching.

Pair that with 3D glasses, state-of-the-art surround sound and wind effects, and the experience becomes incredibly immersive. Billed as a 6D motion ride, the resulting experience is akin to riding a roller coaster without actually getting tossed around. Unlike many roller coasters and thrill rides, young children and elderly visitors can ride without worry of injury (and both get a slight discount). You’ll have your choice of four different films, and at least one tends to cater to families with younger children.
