On the way to Shanshui Beach on County Rd 25 are the Sokang Pagodas, two venerated stone towers. Blessed by a Taoist priest, they are reputed to contain supernatural powers that ward off evil and protect residents from natural disasters.
The towers are about two blocks from each other. From the north-facing tower just keep heading down the main road and look for the south-facing tower to the left down a side road.
