Located in the small town of Hin Tang, just 5km from Sung Noen district, is this ancient ruin that's said to date from the Dvaravati period. An exact date for the site hasn't been established and, in fact, not much archaeological work has been done here. It's mostly crumbling foundations, though there is one pedestal that presumably once supported a Buddha image.
While it isn't spectacular, what you do get here is a sense of being off the beaten track. There's no tourist infrastructure other than a few explanatory signs and you'll most likely have the place to yourself for a wander.
