The island immediately north of Ko Lipe, Ko Adang has brooding, densely forested hills, white-sand beaches and healthy coral reefs. Lots of snorkelling tours make a stop here but there are mooring buoys to prevent damage from anchors. Inland are jungle trails and tumbling waterfalls, including Pirate's Falls, which is rumoured to have been used as a freshwater source by pirates.
There are great views from Chado Cliff, above the main beach, and green turtles lay their eggs here between September and December.
