Set back from the road at the northern end of Hat Karon is this relatively new, impeccably maintained temple complex with a small shrine occupied by a seated, black-stone Buddha. Behind stands the striking tiered-roof crematorium, which only opens on ceremonial days. The grounds are lush with banana, palm and mango trees. It's particularly popular for its Tuesday and Saturday night market (from 5pm) full of clothes, accessories and food stalls.
