First impressions may not overwhelm at this aquarium, as some of the early displays look a little shabby, but the further you go the more interesting it gets, especially the impressive giant Mekong river tank. A highlight is the 'feeding the man to the fish' performance every day at 2pm and also at 11am on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. It's far out of town on the Khon Kaen University campus and not served by public transport.
