Nha Trang
The coastal town of Nha Trang is the heart of Vietnam’s beach resort scene. It’s got a vibrant, urban city center, a long white-sand beach along a beautiful turquoise bay, all backed by verdant hills. For most visitors, the beach is the main draw, and here you can find everything from lounge chairs on the sand to swimming areas and Jet Ski rentals. Nha Trang is also well known for its scuba diving and snorkeling, with boat trips to explore fish covered walls and coral gardens within the Hon Mun Marine Protected Area. Away from the beach, you won’t want to miss Po Nagar Cham Towers. These four ornately designed towers with elaborate carvings were built along the bank of the Cai River more than 1,000 years ago and are still used as houses of worship. And at Thap Ba Hot Springs and Mud Baths you can enjoy a relaxing soak in thermal pools, mudpits and a waterfall.
