Museum of Sa Huynh Culture
More than 200 artifacts dating back some 2,000 years are on display at this center for culture in historic Hoi An. In addition to tools and weapons, visitors can examine giant clay jars that once held the cremated remains of Sa Huynh people and wander hallways of traditional jewelry and terra-cotta urns. The Museum of the Revolution is housed on the second floor of the same building, connecting old to new. It includes portraits of war heroes, as well as more modern relics, like grenade launchers and AK-47s.
Practical Info:
The Museum of Sa Huynh Culture is open daily from 7 a.m. until 5:30 pm. Travel there mid-day and enjoy a stroll across the nearby Japanese Bridge on your way to the popular restaurant district for lunch.
