Vietnam National Museum
During French Colonial Rule, the current home of the Vietnam National Museum housed the Far East Research Institute. Today, the galleries of this iconic structure that blends both European and Asian design elements, displays an impressive array of art and history that covers nearly every period of the country’s past.
In addition to religious artifacts and bronze sculptures dating back to ancient time, travelers will find ornate jewelry and a unique exhibit that showcases the nation’s struggle against the French and the history of the Community Party.
