Sign up for a private or group stand-up paddleboard, or SUP, yoga session. SUP yoga is the same as regular yoga, but performed on a paddleboard on the water. Don’t worry about balance. Those boards are wide. If you can stand up, you can SUP. Trust me, if I can do it, anybody can do it. You’ll paddle to the anchoring site and practice downdogs and planks from the back of the board. The best part? You’ll get to experience Savasana (easily one of my favorites) while gently swaying with the waves and the sounds of the sea. Be careful or you just might fall asleep.
In addition to the fun and novelty of SUP yoga, Lucky Elephant Yoga offers special events and workshops along with group classes and private lessons in several different yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Yin, yoga for athletes, and even kid’s classes. Yes, they even offer hot yoga sessions. Designed to increase flexibility and joint mobility, hot yoga is just like regular yoga, but performed in a room heated up to 90 degrees.
