sponsoredEchoing Bermuda’s history as an oceanic crossroads for ships plying the Atlantic Ocean, the Bermuda Botanical Garden boasts an eclectic mix of tropical trees, fruits and flowers brought from around the world, including a sprawling banyan tree, a fragrant hibiscus garden and a greenhouse of exotic orchids. You’ll also find a unique sensory garden for the blind, designed to help people who can’t see the gardens to instead enjoy its sounds and scents. The 35-acre park is free to visit, with hundreds of floral specimens marked with placards along peaceful walkways. On the grounds, you’ll also find the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art and Camden, the official residence of Bermuda's premier. Today the 18th- century home is used only for occasional government functions, but visitors can take a tour between noon and 2 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
