Established just 30 years ago, the J.R. O'Neal Botanic Gardens spans 4.5 acres of land that resides a short walking distance northeast from Boughers bay. It contains a pergola walk, lily pond, cacti garden, waterfall, tropical exotic bird life, and a miniature tropical rain forest. It is a leisurely spot for both residents and visitors of all ages.
With the year round climate staying consistent, the gardens are able to maintain a steady schedule opening from 8am to 8pm every day. The garden also has an available nursery where you may purchase featured pants in the form of seeds or grown plants.
