Before closing for a lengthy refurbishment in 2014, this was the pulse of the city's progressive cultural life, hosting art expositions (including an original Wifredo Lam sketch), Noches del Danzón, a film museum and impromptu music events. Reopening is 'scheduled' for late 2015.
