Centro de Bellas Artes

Also known as the Luis A. Ferrer Performing Arts Center, this multi-performance center in San Juan is home to the best concert, theater, and ballet performances that come to Puerto Rico. The epicenter of performing and musical arts in San Juan, the Centro de Bellas Artes is an upscale theater hall located in downtown San Juan in the Santurce region.  When visiting the Centro de Bellas Artes, you’ll notice several distinct theaters and rooms – each dedicated to highlighting a different aspect of fine art performance. The Antonio Paoli Hall is the main concert hall is perhaps the main concert hall which holds just shy of 2000 people, the Rene Marques Room – named after the famous Puerto Rican playwright – is for small, more intimate events, while the Pablo Caslas Symphony Hall is a traditional “shoebox” design famous for its great acoustics (and thus, many fine orchestral concerts are held here).
