Low-lying Anguilla makes an interesting contrast to mountainous St Maarten. This British-controlled island is less developed than some of its neighbors, even though its beaches compare with the best in the world. There’s the usual range of Caribbean activities on offer – golf, diving, fishing – but it's the stunning coastline you'll most remember. Practical Info

Anguilla’s airport, roughly in the middle of the island, can only accept short-haul flights. Puerto Rico or nearby St Maarten are the best transfer points; for the last leg, the ferry from Marigot to Blowing Point is a good alternative to flying.
